SAN FRANCISCO – The Golden Guardians (GG), an esports affiliate of the Golden State Warriors, will donate all proceeds from the team’s new merchandise store throughout the month of April to the Restaurant Workers Community Foundation (RWCF) COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund. RWCF, an advocacy and action nonprofit created by and for restaurant workers, will provide direct relief to individual restaurant workers, nonprofit organizations serving restaurant workers in crises, and zero-interest loans for restaurants to get back up and running.
“During this unprecedented time of COVID-19, we are proud to help restaurants and their employees remain on their feet,” said Hunter Leigh, Head of GSW Esports. “The launch of our new online merchandise store provides Golden Guardians fans a great opportunity to purchase new loungewear from home while supporting a great cause.”
The Golden Guardians new merchandise store is a one stop shop for fans to purchase authentic customizable jerseys and apparel including short sleeve tees, sweatshirts and sweatpants. The shop can be found at GoldenGuardians.whatsneu.gg.
