Senior Video Producer

About the Position

Join a creative and positive team and help us tell our story through motion. In this role, you'll work closely with the Director of eSports Operations for the Golden State Warriors. You'll be responsible for leading and generating video features and workflows for online distribution. As our Senior Video Producer, you'll direct the effort for eSports video production and work with the entire video production pipeline from ideation and execution. You'll have the opportunity to use your creative skills with pre-production, shoot setup, editing and post-production.

This is a full-time position and is based in Los Angeles, CA.

Key Responsibilities

This position will help define our video production setup, including gear, team, and content flow with extend knowledge of eSports, league of legends. Additionally, this role will work with various GSW departments to produce and execute content consistent with the main brand scan and you will develop their own skills and style with our GSW studio team.

You'll serve as the in-house video guru for our unit. Often, you'll make and produce your own videos from beginning to end.

  • Develop video content schedule and own video creation process from start to finish, with estimated release schedule of 1 quality video per week
  • Collaboratively build look/feel for Golden Guardians, Warriors Gaming Squad
  • Utilize other areas of the organization to craft awesome videos, including areas like social media, art, and production partners.
  • Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and train other staff on a variety of equipment, including but not limited to: video cameras, lighting equipment, audio recording equipment, and other necessary equipment for studio and location shoots.
  • Lead and watch video assets to ensure post-production workflow stays on course
  • Work in collaboration with motion graphic designers for custom needs such as color correction, audio mixing and graphics work

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in a professional production environment with a deep understanding of how to operate digital cinema cameras, Premiere or Final C
  • Identify and resolve production problems with creativity and a contagious “can-do” attitude with attention to detail
  • Self-starter who can work independently as well as effectively in a reciprocal team environment.
